Outwater's Company is a Revolutionary War re-enacting unit portraying the Life and times of Captain John Outwater's Company of militia from Bergen County, NJ.
We are a 501(c) non-profit organization, dedicated to educating the public thru demonstrations of Living History and Lectures. Donations gratefully accepted!
What do we do?
We portray the people of the Revolution accurately, with honor and respect.
Brigade of the American Revolution inspected
The Brigade is known for having the best authenticity standards for decades. Outwater's Company has been a long time member, meeting BAR standards consistently for accuracy and safety.
We demonstrate not just the part-time soldiers of the militia, but their families, trades and crafts-the lives of ordinary people caught in this time of history. Everyone is welcome; only a love of history is required.
On the field and in camp, we follow safety standards to assure the safety of our members and of the public.
Continental Line Membership
The Continental Line is an umbrella group for American units, known for its large-scale re-enactments and standards for membership. Outwater's Company is a proud, long-time member.
